Lake Carroll Golf Course is a Championship level golf course set amongst the rolling hills of northwest Illinois. Each hole was designed with four sets of tees to accommodate for all levels of play, with intelligently placed bunkers, expertly manicured fairways and large undulating and smooth greens. Our course winds through the natural landscape, with deer, fox and turkey all around, with no paralleling fairways, making Lake Carroll Golf Course feel like you are part of nature.
Ten years of updating to the tees, bunkers and several hole redesigns, Lake Carroll Golf Course is one of the best, most modern and up-to-date courses in northwest Illinois. The PGA professional staff has over 20 years’ experience, teaching customized golf lessons to all ages and skill levels. With 1000’s of students ranging from junior and adult, beginners to collegiate level players, we have experience with it all. The golf course also has one of the most robust tournament calendars as well, more than 50 yearly tournaments, with over 25 tournaments for members and their guests.
Looking to experience golf in different locations throughout the state? Lake Carroll has reciprocity agreements with 13 other participating golf courses, which allows members to enjoy golf at various locations.

The Golf Pro Shop is fully stocked with name brands such as: Belding, Callaway, Cleveland, Datrek, Etonic, Foot-joy, Greg Norman, Mizuno, Official MLB; NFL; and Collegiate merchandise, Sky Caddie, Srixon, Straight Down, Sundog, and Titleist.
Golf Lessons
All lessons are 30 minutes in duration. Video lessons are now available! Call for information. All full-swing lessons are taught using the Explanar swing modality.

Interested in booking a golf outing for a group? Click here to send a request. Golf outings require 30 players or more. All golf outings will receive the professional services of our staff. Professional services include the following: assistance with the format of play, rules sheet, flag events, score keeping, scoreboards, scorecards and cart signs.
Outing packages available for 30 to 71 players, and 72 to 144 players. Shotgun starts available for groups of 72 to 144 players. We offer a discounted golf rate for groups of 30 or more. All outings include green fees, golf cart, and varying golf shop credit options. NOTE: beverage cart service and beer garden setup available at the golf course for special events. Additional prizes, services, and corporate merchandise are also available throughout the Golf Pro Shop.
